		The Catalina 18 cockpit is roomy and comfortable. The cockpit seats are 6' 10 inches long with deep angled seat backs and gently contoured seats. The cabin is well lighted and ventilated for overnight accommodation for the sailing couple or family with children. The wing keel with shallow draft has good performance in light and heavy winds dictated the Capri 18 hull shape. The Catalina 18 is well balanced and light on the helm, inspiring confidence in the learning sailor and delighting the seasoned skipper.
