2008 Gold Series
Warning Signal 1330 hours except the Make-Up day when it is 12:00. Marked races "*" will begin 30 minutes after the first race's last boat finishes, and on the Make-Up day (the Commodores Cup), the third race will follow again in the same manner.
Starting Order  Spring & Summer series: Flying Scots, Interlakes, others
Fleet Championship The Gold Series consists of one's results from total races held from the Spring & Summer Series less a throw-out (but not a "DND" throw-out) for every three races held. The Platinum Series consists of one's 16 best finishes from both the Spring & Summer series.
Fleet Policy A minimum of three yachts of a kind registered to race by the first race, or a minimum of three yachts of a kind registered to race at the conclusion of the previous season shall guarantee fleet status for either Gold or Silver series. All yachts not qualifying for fleet status shall compete against each other on a boat-to-boat basis in the open fleet. Yachts less than 15 feet shall sail as small boats.
 Scoring In the event of multiple races, a yacht's score for that evening will be the ranking of that yacht's averaged score in each race of the evening. The RM shall attempt to run back-to-back races for the SB series and shall display Code Flag "L" at the Finish Line to announce the end of the evening's racing.

2008 Silver Series
Rules The Gold Series Sailing Instructions shall be the Sailing Instructions for the Silver Series, except as modified herein:
Eligible Yachts Club membership status is not required provided one has not registered in any previous year's Silver Series. Yachts need not have their proper sail number, but must identify themselves to the Race Manager prior to racing. Lasers, Sunfish, and other small boats shall race on Tuesday; Flying Scots, Interlakes and other large boats shall race on Thursday. Yachts 15 feet and greater shall sail as large boats.
Time Limits  For each leg shall be 20 minutes and 90 minutes for the first yacht to finish. Yachts not finishing within 20 minutes of the first yacht in their class shall be scored a DNF.
